Chicken  burger

B-well Southern fried chicken burger

For the patty:
½ Cup Flour
1 Tbsp Smoked paprika
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Oregano
1 Tbsp Garlic & onion powder
1 Cup Buttermilk
1 Tbsp B-well Cheeky Chili Oil
2 Chicken breasts
Salt and pepper
B-well Fry Well Oil to shallow fry


For the Spicy Slaw:
2 Cups Cabbage ( white / red / mixed ) finely chopped
½ Cup B-well Tangy Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp B-well Zesty Lemon Canola Oil
2 Tbsp Chipotle chili Sauce
1 Tbsp Coriander, chopped
1 Lemon, juiced
Salt and Pepper


Burger bun, pickles, and fries to serve.



Combine the flour, spices and seasoning in a bowl, and mix well. Set aside.
Cut the chicken breasts in half lengthways. Coat in flour mixture. Combine the buttermilk and B-well Chili oil, and mix. Dip the chicken in the buttermilk mix, then into the flour.
Shallow fry the chicken burgers until golden brown and crispy, and set aside for assembly.
Make the slaw by combining B-well mayo and oil, followed by the Chipotle chili sauce, coriander, lemon and seasoning. Mix well, and pour over the cabbage. Massage with your hands until completely coated. Set aside.
Assemble the burgers by starting with a burger bun base, smothered with B-well Mayo. Add the pickles, then the chicken patty. Top with the spicy slaw, and finally the remaining half of the bun.
Keep the burger together with a skewer, and enjoy with your side of choice.
