Battered Brinjal / Aubergine

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 large Brinjal
  • 1 tsp Hinds Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup Pakco Chilli Bite Mix
  • ¼ cup water (approximately)
  • Oil for deep frying

 

Method:

  1. Cut brinjals into thin rings. Place in a bowl with salt, Hinds Tumeric powder and add sufficient water to cover brinjal. Set aside.
  2. Place Pakco Chilli Bite Mix in a bowl and add water a little at a time to make a thick, consistent batter
  3. Drain the water from the brinjal and dab them with a paper towel to remove excess water.
  4. Heat oil .Dip brinjal rings into batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown in colour.
  5. Place in a colander lined with paper towel to absorb excess oil.

 

Tasty Tip: Serve with Pakco Pepper Sauce
