Chickn and Corn on the Cob Braai

Chicken and Corn on the Cob Braai

Serves 4

This is a great family braai recipe that is quick and simple to prepare.

8 chicken drumsticks
Salt and pepper
2 Tbs Honey
4 Tbs fresh thyme, chopped
6 Tbs olive oil
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
4 corn on the cob


STEP 1: Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
STEP 2: Combine the honey, thyme, oil and lemon.
STEP 3: Rub half the marinade over the chicken and allow to marinade if you have time.
STEP 4: Place the chicken onto the braai over medium heat.
STEP 5: Turn the chicken often to ensure even cooking.
STEP 7: Place the corn onto the braai and baste with the remaining marinade
STEP 8: Serve everything piping hot


Tip: When cooking chicken on the braai, make sure that you cook on a medium or low heat so that the chicken cooks through without charring the outside.
