Chicken and White Wine Casserole (21 Aug)

This tasty chicken casserole serves a family of four and you can add a variety of vegetables for added flavour and nutrition
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 900g chicken pieces
- 15ml sunflower oil
- 5 carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
- 100g baby onions, peeled
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 1 sachet KNORR Chicken Casserole Dry Cook-in-Sauce
- 400ml cold water
- 15ml chopped parsley
- Garlic mash to serve
How To Make It:
- Brown chicken pieces in oil, then add the carrots and onions and fry further until lightly browned.
- Ensure that the chicken and vegetables are almost cooked through.
- Add white wine.
- Mix contents of the sachet of KNORR Chicken Casserole Cook-in-Sauce with 400 ml cold water.
- Pour the sauce over the browned chicken pieces and bring to the boil, stirring quite often.
- Simmer for 8-10 min.
- Add chopped parsley and serve on a bed of garlic mash
