Gnocchi with Creamy Sage Clover Nolac White Sauce

Gnocchi with Creamy Sage infused Nolac white sauce
 

Recipe by Melandie Esterhuizen


For the sauce:
500ml Nolac Lactose free milk
10 springs of sage
50g flour
50 ml Olive Pride Blend
Grilled Lemon Wedges


For the Gnocchi:
50 ml Olive Pride Blend Olive oil
Gnocchi
2 Cloves garlic, chopped


Sauce:
Infuse together on low heat for 20 minutes, stirring regularly not to burn the milk. Remove the sage from the milk.
In a separate pan, heat the oil and add the flour to make a roux.
Slowly add a little milk at a time, stirring continuously.


Gnocchi
Heat the oil
Fry the garlic and add the gnocchi.
Pace in serving dish and drizzle with the sage infused white sauce.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Top with grilled lemon slices.
