Clover Olive Pride Prego Roll 

Clover Olive Pride Prego Roll 
 
Recipe by Nicole Snelling 
 
8 Minute beef steaks 
4 Portuguese rolls, toasted 
1 Large Onion, finely sliced 
¼ Cup Red wine 
4 Garlic cloves, finely chopped 
2 Tbsp Olive pride a blend of seed oils & extra virgin olive oil
1 Chilli, finely chopped  
1 Tbsp Red wine vinegar 
1 Tbsp Tomato paste 
Salt and pepper, to taste
 
Bring a non stick pan to a medium-high heat, add the Olive pride a blend of seed oils & extra virgin olive oil and the onions. Allow the onions to cook for 4-6 minutes until golden. 
Add the garlic and chilli, cook for 1 minute then add the tomato paste, red wine and vinegar, stir to combine.
Allow the sauce to reduce slightly by cooking it for 6-8 minutes.
Meanwhile in a high heated griddle pan, season and lightly oil the steaks before cooking them for a minute on each side. 
To serve, place the two cooked steaks on a Portuguese roll, top with the sauce, sliced tomato and lettuce.
