Comedian Jessica Michelle Singleton on Expresso
American comedian Jessica Michelle Singleton, has toured around the world, she recently came to Africa for the first time and had been performing around a few venues here in South Africa. We were lucky enough to have her with us in the Expresso studio.
Her debut comedy album reached no1 on itunes, it was also even considered for a Grammy Award, under the best “Best Comedy Album” category. She is known for her popular podcast ‘Ignorance is #Blessed,’ which is featured on a few stations in the U.S.A. A documentary is currently being developed on her three person ‘Road Kill Comedy Tour’ that she did. She became the first English speaking woman to perform at Montreux Comedy Festival in Switzerland, one of Switzerland’s most prestigious comedy festivals. She became their youngest and only female ambassador at the time
