Crispy chicken strips and popcorn cauliflower
 

DeLonghi Crispy Chicken Strips and Popcorn Cauliflower
  
300g free range chicken breasts (skinless and boneless) cut into thick strips
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to season
2T BBQ spice
1T garlic powder
4T fat free plain yoghurt
1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs (Woolworths ciabatta crumb style)
 
Serve with hummus and crudité (like celery sticks, baby carrots, cucumber batons) to form a snack platter
 
For the popcorn cauliflower
 
1 small head of cauliflower, broken into florets
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to season
1T garam masala
2t ground turmeric
5T fat free plain yoghurt 
2 cups breadcrumbs (Woolworths ciabatta crumb style)
 
Add the chicken breasts to a mixing bowl along with the seasoning and yoghurt. Mix until well combined and every piece of chicken is coated well in the seasoned yoghurt before adding the chicken to the breadcrumbs and coating well. 
 
For the cauliflower: add the florets to a mixing bowl along with the seasoning and yoghurt, mixing well to ensure every floret is coated in the yoghurt mixture before adding to the breadcrumbs and coating well. 
 
Set your Idealfry to heat setting 4, and using both top and bottom heating element.
 
Add the chicken and cauliflower to the Idealfry basket and cook for 10 minutes until the chicken and cauliflower both have a crisp golden crust on the outside. If you’d like your cauliflower cooked a little more simply allow it to cook for another 5 minutes, or as long as desired. 
 
Serve the chicken strips and popcorn cauliflower along with a dip or hummus and crudité to form a snack platter.
