Doily Envelopes:

Finding inspiration for a theme doesn't have to be complicated or hard to find.  If you just take a look at the people you know and look at the things around you, you will be very pleasantly surprised at what you find.

For example, Matanna took a look at her late Grandmother Zelda Katz.  She was a woman with style, grace, and impeccable taste.  

A collection of old photographs, charming stories, unbelievable vintage clothes, eccentric jewellery and porcelain swan collection has inspired me to create my own party theme take on her vintage style.

HOW TO: Doily envelope

STEP1: Fold the 2 sides of a doily inwards towards each other. 

STEP2: Fold in the bottom side so that 3 sides are folded and the top is open. Glue the sides down.

STEP3: Fold the top piece over to form an envelope.
