Asset Structuring

Intro to Asset Structuring with Warren Wilkinson

In financial accounting, assets are economic resources. Anything tangible or intangible that is capable of being owned or controlled to produce value and that is held to have positive economic value is considered an asset. Simply stated, assets represent ownership of value that can be converted into cash (although cash itself is also considered an asset).

From a personal perspective, structuring refers to the process of ensuring that the assets you acquire during your life time: Property; Businesses; Movable Assets (cars, boats, yachts, quad bikes, furniture, etc); Investments; Intellectual Property Rights etc. is owned by the right entities and/or persons.

Everyone acquires assets in their life time and it’s important to know whether or not you are purchasing the “right” ones.
