Hash One - a hip hop trio consisting of Nasi, Mr. Mix and Sun G - is a group which, on paper, comprises three of the most talented undiscovered rappers from the Motswako hub of Mafikeng.

Individually, they have generated hype for themselves by releasing well received songs and landing features as members of the sound design company, Sotho Mafia Entertainment. 

Between them, they have worked with SAMA Winner TUKS, Mo Molemi,SAMA Winner AKA, MXO, DJ Lemonka, Award winning sound engineer Arnold Verrmark and Lungelo from TS records.They have also contributed to music libraries for TV like Lalela Vol5.

Nasi recently did a track with Trenton of “Free Radicals”. The track was written for a local film “Copposites” staring Rob van Vuuren, Sivuyile ‘Siv’ Ngesi, Precious Kofi & Alfred ‘Shorty’ Ntombela just to name a few. The track is in the film & will be hitting radio stations in the middle of July. We have shot a music video for the project that will start airing the middle of July as well.   

Sun G’s single ft. Shag & AKA (2012 Best Street Urban Album & Male Artist Of The Year SAMA18 Winner) Is currently sitting at no 2 on YFM &  no 1 5FM Hip Hop charts. It is on ration at national stations such as Motsweding FM. The track is available for download & has been downloaded 12 600 times to date.

Mr Mix just finished working on a song with SAMA nominated electronic group PRANKSTER from Cape Town. The single is specifically geared toward the Olympic Games, the single is about to hit all major radio stations, and we are looking forward to heavy airplay by association with Prankster & the Olympics. 

Making waves is their specialty. Now, they have come together to create the ultimate tidal wave of hype, calling themselves HashOne. What they have to do now, is live up to that name, and Mahala for the Last Time (M4LT) is how they’re going to get the word out.

M4TLT is the strategy - A codename if you will – for the ambush that HashOne is plotting for the SA music scene. It is called M4TLT as a testament to the hip hop community that up-an-coming is a description the members are no longer satisfied with. So we are doing free gigs and giving away free music and free collaborations, for the last time. It is a promise to ourselves and those who have supported us for so long that will deliver on the hype that we have.

Like the name of our group, M4TLT is a bold statement. It is a pledge to all witnesses that Mr. Mix, Nasi and Sun G are collectively a force to be reckoned with. As far as rapping goes, we are the best. That is the philosophy. And M4TLT is the movement that will justify the title we have given ourselves.

SME artists performed on the "Yes Tour" featuring some of the best acts from Nigeria and South Africa eg. JOZI, DJ CLEO, MALAIKA etc. They have also performed on the MTV stage at the Sbu and Oskido Summer Splash, getting on after Skwatta Camp, Zubs,Tumi,Sypho and DJ Switch. SME artists had three tracks on the Yfm countdown at the same time with no album out.

We are also in studio concluding our debut album. The Album will feature 7 SAMA winners or nominees. Artist such as MO MOLEMI, TUKS, Mariechan Luiters of Jamali, MXO & Slikour just to name a few who have already recorded their contributions to the project.
