’The journey began way back, “, explains the group. It was all a dream, and now turning into a reality. Songwriters, singers Heavenly Quartez is set to take the world by storm. They grew up being aspired by the likes of “IL DIVO”, and now they are setting their own footprint in the music industry.

Heavenly Quartez is a talented group of singers born and bred in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. These individuals joined forces in 2009 to form The classical favourites now called “Heavenly Quartez”.

This group consists of four Heavenly and soothing voices of, Melikhaya Ndabeni, Nkumbuzo Nkonyana, Mawanda Mxunyelwa, Akhona Dudumashe.

Heavenly Quartez has always been passionate about music, since undergoing vocal and music training at London College of Music this group has never looked back.

Early Days of Heavenly Quartez: 

The group began its mark in the townships of Cape Town, performing at Weddings, Cultural Events, and Corporate functions. The group finally got their break when they were discovered by Jump Start Entertainment at the Launch of SiluloUlutho Technologies in Cape Town, later that year in 2009.

Jump Start Entertainment did not hesitate signing this classical talent as they were evidently dynamite. Under Jump Start‘s Management Heavenly Quartezjust blossomed, performing all around the country and in high demand of corporates. Since then Heavenly Quartez has had the opportunity to share the stage with many greats in the music industry but the highlight was when they shared the stage in July 2011 with the International Gospel Superstar Kirk Franklin. ”He too was blown away. We have had the opportunity to be part of the prestigious 2010 FIFA world performing for loyal fans all around the country.

Heavenly Quartez is not just a classical group. They are versatile, Talented and Energetic on stage; their scintillating voices compliment each other to create harmony. Their style of music is Afro Classic fused with Jazz and Gospel. They have a great cross-over appeal, with songs such as die “Medley” combination of different languages, including Afrikaans.

The group has recently released their single, titled ‘’MzaliWam” and if we must say, “what a great response. The album is anticipated by everyone, it's in total; demand. Heavenly Quartez is its debut album November 2011.
