Milo Quick & Easy Breakfast Recipes For Kids
Scrambled Egg Tacos
Ingredients
6 large eggs
50ml milk or cream
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
4 wholewheat flour tortillas/ wraps
1 Cup mushrooms, chopped
1 Cup cheese, cheese
1 Cup ham, chopped
Method:
Using a whisk the eggs, beat the eggs until the whites and yolks are fully combined, then add the milk or cream until well incorporated.
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, reduce heat to medium-low and pour in the egg mixture.
Stir often until the eggs have cooked until your preference, remove from heat and stir in salt and pepper and set aside in a serving platter.
In another pan, cook the chopped mushrooms over a low heat. Once cooked, transfer the mushrooms to the serving platter with the eggs.
Toast the tortillas briefly on both sides over a gas flame or in a preheated saucepan. Wrap the warm tortillas in a clean dish towel to keep them warm.
Serve the platter of taco toppings on a table with the tortillas. Let everyone build their own tacos at the table.

Oat & Chia Seed Overnight Pots
Ingredients:
¾ Cup oats
⅓ Cup chia seeds
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ - 1 tsp cinnamon
2¼ Cups liquid (half water, half milk)
2 tsp honey.
⅔ Cup thick Greek/plain yoghurt
Toppings: fresh berries, sliced banana, stewed fruits, chopped nuts, seeds, shredded coconut, mango

Coconut Yoghurt Topping:
 1 Tbsp coconut cream
3 Tbsp Greek yoghurt
½ tsp vanilla essence
drop of honey
Method:
1. Add the dry ingredients to a large jar or bowl and stir or shake to combine. Add the liquids and stir well. Note that there might seem like there's too much liquid at this point, but the chia seeds and oats will soak up a lot of the liquid.
