Nulaid Eggs in a Basket

1 French loaf

6 Extra Large Nulaid Eggs

¼ Cup Cream and milk (combined)

Salt and pepper, to taste

¼ cup Grated Parmesan or mozzarella 
Crispy bacon to serve
Chopped chives, to serve (optional)


Preheat the oven to 190°C
Line a baking tray.
Cut six to eight holes (depending on the size of your loaf) into the top of the bread using a small knife. Be careful not to cut through the bottom of the loaf. 
Crack a Nulaid egg into each hole, followed by a tablespoon of milk and cream mixture and season to taste. 
Sprinkle over Parmesan or Mozzarella and pop into the oven to bake for about 10 – 15 minutes or until the egg has set to your liking. 
Remove from oven, allow to cool and cut into portions. Garnish with chopped chives (optional) and crispy bacon on the side.
