
Olympic Flag Cakes
Ingredients:
- One 20/22cm square vanilla cake
- White butter icing icing
- Smarties. Blue, black (brown), red, yellow, green - 8 of each colour
- South African flags on toothpicks
Method:
1. Cut the cake into half horizontally and then divide each half into quarters to create 8 pieces in total.
2. Spread each piece of cake with white icing.
3. Place 5 smarties onto each cake. Top row - blue, black, red; bottom row - yellow, green.
4. Place a South African flag toothpick into each cake and then serve on a platter.
