Paprika and Honey Marinated Braai Chicken

Serves 4

 

The combination of smoky paprika and sweet honey penetrates the flesh of the chicken – works wonderfully for a spring braai! 

Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken, spatchcock or 8 assorted chicken pieces

For the marinade:

  • 1 KNORR Chicken Stock Pot
  • 100ml boiling water
  • 75ml olive oil
  • 75ml lemon juice
  • 3 cloves crushed garlic
  • 30ml honey
  • 15ml paprika
  • 15ml Italian Herbs

 Method:

  1. In a bowl mix together all the ingredients for the marinade until well combined
  2. Place chicken into a shallow roasting tray and pour the marinade over
  3. Allow chicken to marinate for 30 – 60 minutes in the fridge then place on the braai until cooked through, basting frequently with the marinade
  4. Serve with a fresh seasonal salad
