Prawn Bhajias

Prawn Bhajias

  • 1 Cup prawns, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbs wheat porridge
  • 2 Tbs Sasko Cake flour
  • 2 Tbs Pakco chilli bite mix
  • 3 green chillies, chopped (use less if you like it less spicy)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • Water
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ bunch fresh coriander, chopped
  • Oil for frying

 

How To Make It: 

Mix together the chopped prawns, wheat, flour, Pakco chilli bite mix, chillies, onion and add enough water to combine the mixture.

Leave to rest for 2 hours.

Heat oil in a pan.

Mix the eggs, baking powder and coriander into the prawn mixture.

Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the oil and deep fry until golden brown.

 

Tasty Tip: Serve with Pakco chilli sauce
