Quick chocolate pudding

Serves 4

 

1 cup flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

¾ cup sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

½ cup milk

2 tablespoons melted stork bake

1 cup chopped nuts or 1 slab whole nut chocolate roughly chopped up

 

In a bowl sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, and cocoa.

Add milk, melted stork and nuts or chocolate if desired stir well.

Spread in a deep greased ovenproof dish and sprinkle with a mixture of:

¾ cup sugar and 4 tablespoons cocoa

Gently pour 1¾ cups of HOT water over the batter.

Bake for 45 minutes at 180 degrees, during the baking the cake mixture rises to the top and the chocolate sauce settles to the bottom.

Serve warm with cream, custard or ice cream.
