Steak and Chips

Serves 2

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 400g aged rump steak
  • Olive oil
  • 11/2 T Nomu BBQ rub
  • Sea salt flakes and Black pepper
  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • Canola oil for deep frying
  • Steamed green beans

 

Method:

  1. Wash sweet potatoes & cut into wedges
  2. Rub the rump with olive oil, BBQ rub, salt & pepper and leave for 15minutes.
  3. Deep fry Sweet potatoes until golden in colour.
  4. Heat a grill pan over highest heat, add the rump and cook for five minutes on each side. It will be rare.
  5. Serve with the chips and steamed green beans.
