Melt the butter and stir through the onions, cover with a lid and cook for 10 minutes or until softened. Remove lid, add sugar, then cook for 15-20 minutes or until golden and sticky.
Fry the sausages for 15 minutes or until browned and keep warm. Add the onions, then flour and stir for 1 minute. Add thyme, beer and stock and simmer for 5 minutes. Add Worcestershire sauce, season and serve with sausages.
Make the coleslaw by mixing all the ingredients together. Serve with the sausages.
