The Rotherhamburger
Recipe by Jan Braai
Makes 4
Ingredients:
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
- 8 slices bacon
- 8 slices salami
- 4 Portuguese rolls
- 8 slices mozzarella cheese
- 100g feta cheese, crumbled
Method:
- Pound each chicken breast to flatten them to an even thickness.
- Season with salt and pepper then brush with olive oil.
- Braai the chicken for about 6-10 minutes, turning in between.
- Cook the bacon on the braai while the chicken cooks.
- Assemble the burger by cutting the rolls in half then topping with the salami, feta, chicken, mozzarella and bacon.
