Woolworths Spicy Burger

Woolworths Spicy Korean Inspired Burger

Makes 4 burgers
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 12 minutes
190g Woolies rosa tomato salad, lettuce leaves separated
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 Tbsp Woolies Asian Gochujang paste
4 Woolies beef burger patties
1/3 cup Woolies smokey BBQ marinade
1 Tbsp Woolies Asian Gochujang paste
4 slices sliced cheddar
4 while hamburger buns, buttered and toasted
Serve with Woolies chocolate éclairs
For the salad, keep the lettuce chilled while preparing a quick pickle for the remaining veggies.
Halve the tomatoes and combine in a mixing bowl with the remaining ingredients.
Dress the ingredients in a quick pickle made by mixing the vinegar and gochujang, setting aside to pickle while preparing the patties.
Heat a griddle pan over a high heat. If you’re using a normal pan heat some canola oil over a high heat.
Add the patties and grill for about 5 minutes before turning 90’ to create a perfect cross-hatch char pattern, cook for another 3 minutes before turning over and cooking for another 4 minutes.
Combine the BBQ marinade and gochujang pate before brushing over the burger in the last few minutes of cooking, top with the cheese and allow to melt.
Add lettuce to the base of the toasted buns followed by the cheesy patty, top with the quick pickled veggies and serve with extra napkins.
