Double Choc Banana Loaf with Clover Classic Custard
This is the reason you need to keep those overripe bananas!
Time: 20-25 minutes
1½ cups flour
½ cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup oil
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
¼ cup milk
2 medium bananas, mashed
1 cup chocolate chips
Clover Classic Custard for serving
Preheat the oven to 180C
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar oil, vanilla essence and milk. Stir in the bananas and choc chips.
Combine the wet ingredients with the dry until just mixed. Pour the batter into a greased loaf tin and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.
Slice and serve with Clover Classic custard
Chefs Tip: Enjoy as dessert or serve it as a tea time or lunch box snack! You can also add nuts if you would like.
