Clover Bliss Red Velvet Donut Hole Cake
These are a few of our favourite things!
Serves: 5 – 6
Time: 35 – 40 minutes
25-20 mini doughnuts
1 pack Red Velvet Cake mix
1 cup Clover Bliss Double Cream yoghurt, Red Velvet Flavour
100ml cooking oil
2 large eggs
For the icing
1 tub cream cheese
½ icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
¼ cup Bliss Double Cream yoghurt, Red Velvet Flavour
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Add the Red Velvet cake mix to a large bowl, lightly beat the Bliss yoghurt, cooking oil and eggs and add to the cake mix. Mix until just combined.
Place a layer of donuts on the bottom of a greased springform tin. Pour over a layer of the cake mix. Add another layer of donuts on top of the came mix and top with the final layer of cake mix
Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
Mix together the ingredients for the topping and spread over the cooled cake.
Chefs Tip: You can add textures to the topping to take it up a notch – but its best served with a blissful yoghurt glaze.
