Quick Soup Bread

Quick Soup Bread 
Makes 1
Recipe by Clement Pedro
2 Cups milk
1 lemon, juiced, or 3 Tbsp white vinegar
4 Cups self raising flour
1 free range egg, beaten
a pinch of salt
Cooking instructions:
Combine the milk and lemon juice, string well then set aside for 5 minutes or until the curds and whey have separated and the milk has split.
In a large mixing bowl add the flour and the now buttermilk along with the egg and salt, with a wooden spoon begin combining the ingredients to form the dough.
Grease a bread tin then add the dough, while preheating the oven to 180C.
Bake for 45 - 50 minutes or until the bread has a golden crust and a cake tester comes out clean when testing the bread. It will also have a hollow sound when tapping.
Remove the bread from the oven and only remove from the bread tin once cool enough to handle.
