Cheesy Chakalaka Kasi Balls

The perfect way to use up leftover rice, and make it extra nice with Clover cheese!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup Chakalaka relish
  • 1 cup grated Clover’s Natural Cheese
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

How To Make Cheesy Chakalaka Kasi Balls

  1. In a bowl, mix cooked rice, Chakalaka relish, and grated Clover’s Natural Cheese.
  2. Form the mixture into balls.
  3. Coat each ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and roll in breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot and fry the balls until golden brown.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
