
Creamy Lemon Parmigiano Reggiano Heart Shaped Pasta
This Valentine’s Day we’re bringing the flavours of love straight to your table with a delicious and easy creamy lemon heart shaped pasta recipe that will make for the perfect date night meal!
Ingredients:
- 1 x 250 g pack Parmigiano Reggiano & reduction with Balsamic vinegar Heart Shaped Pasta
- 1 x pack of Woolworths pancetta
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 cup cream
- Zest of 1 lemon and lemon to squeeze over
- Woolworths Frozen Petits Pois Peas, to serve
- 1 x 60g tub Woolworths Grated Parmigiano Reggiano
How To Make Creamy Lemon Parmigiano Reggiano Heart Shaped Pasta
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
- Fry the garlic in butter or olive oil until golden, then add the cream, a handful of the grated cheese, and season to taste.
- Meanwhile, fry the pancetta until crispy. Instead of pancetta, you could also add smoked flaked trout or Hot Smoked Norwegian Trout bites, warmed to package instructions.
- Add the cooked pasta to the creamy sauce and stir through.
- Dish the pasta onto a plate and top with steamed petit pois and pancetta bits or flaked trout. Sprinkle with lemon zest, add a splash of lemon juice and a drizzle of olive oil and enjoy!
