Creamy Mushroom & Thyme Pasta

A deliciously creamy dinner time option!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp salted butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 250g mushrooms. Sliced
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1 cup cheddar or gouda cheese
  • Salt & pepper
  • 2 cups cooked pasta of your choice

How To Make Creamy Mushroom & Thyme Pasta

  1. Heat oil and butter in a large pan, then add in onions and cook until the onions are translucent
  2. Add in garlic, mushrooms and fresh thyme, cook for about 3 minutes
  3. Add in cream and cheese cook for about 2 – 3 minutes until thickened and cheese is melted
  4. Stir in cooked pasta and season to taste with salt & pepper.
