Freshpak Pomegranate and Crushed Pineapple Ice Tea

Refresh with a chilled glass of this iced tea on a hot day!

Ingredients:

3 Freshpak rooibos tea bags (pomegranate flavoured)
750 ml water
1 cinnamon stick
Rind of 1 lemon
Honey to taste
1 cup crushed pineapple

For serving
Pomegranate pearls
Pineapple wedges
Fresh mint

Method:

In a sauce pan over medium heat bring the water to a gentle simmer, add in the Freshpak rooibos pomegranate flavoured tea bags, cinnamon stick and lemon rind and allow to steep for 1 minute. Remove from heat, add in the honey and allow to cool. Once cool allow to chill in the fridge.
Place the crushed pineapple in a ice tray and freeze until solid. To serve, place pomegranate pearls into your serving glass or pitcher, add in a few pineapple ice cubes, top with your chilled ice tea ,garnish with fresh mint, pineapple wedges and enjoy.
