Marie Biscuit Chocolate Balls
A South African treat that will never get old.
Time: 15 minutes
250 g Marie biscuits
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
50ml Super m chocolate flavour
300g condensed milk
1 cup desiccated coconut
Crush the Marie biscuits.
Once the biscuits are crushed, transfer them to a mixing bowl. Add the cocoa powder. Mix well until the biscuits & cocoa are combined.
Pour in the condensed milk and Super M.
Mix until combined. The mixture should be a bit sticky. To a separate bowl, add the desiccated coconut.
Thereafter begin spooning off small amounts of the mixture.
Roll them in the palm of your hands to form a ball & dunk the ball into the bowl of desiccated coconut, coating it throughout.
Pop them into the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Chefs Tip: You can replace the coconut with chocolate sauce and you can also form it into a log shape and cut rounds of them.
