Cooking time: 15 – 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, or leftover rotisserie chicken
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 8 slices of bread
  • Butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup Mrs Balls Sweet Chilli Sauce

How To Make Mrs Balls Chicken & Festive Stuffing Jaffel

  1. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, chopped cranberries, feta cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  2. Fold in fresh parsley if using. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place two slices, buttered side down, on a clean surface.
  3. Spread a thin layer of Mrs Balls Sweet Chilli Sauce on the unbuttered side for a festive touch. Spoon the chicken mixture evenly onto the slices with the sauce.
  4. Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing out. Preheat your jaffle iron on the stove over medium heat.
  5. Place the assembled jaffle into the iron, close it firmly, and trim any excess bread if needed. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the jaffles from the iron, let them cool slightly, then cut in half. Serve warm with extra Mrs Balls Sweet Chilli Sauce on the side for dipping.
