Simply Chicken Pita Toasties
A quick, simple and delicious meal for the whole family.

Ingredients:
4 Simply Chicken Burger Patties
4 slices cheese
4 pita breads
1 tin chopped tomato
1 onion, sliced
1 Tbsp oil
salt and pepper, to taste
Potato chips or salad, to serve
Method:
To make the smoor, heat up a nonstick pan to a medium heat, add 1 Tbsp oil and the onions. Allow the onions to gently sauté until golden brown for about 6-8 minutes. Then add the chopped tin tomato and allow to simmer for 10-15 minutes and set aside. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook the Simply Chicken Burger Patties according to package instructions.
Cut a slit in the pita bread, place a slice of cheese on each patty and then place each patty into the pitas.
Add some tomato and onion smoor to each pita.
Place the pitas into a sandwich press/ machine or alternatively you can toast the pita in a preheated pan. Allow the pita to toast until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Serve the toasties with some potato chips or salad.
