Toffee Apples

A cheats version to recreate these nostalgic treats.

Serves: 3-4
Time: 10 minutes


3-4 small apples, thoroughly washed to remove waxy layer
1 pack toffee sweets
1 cup sprinkles
Popsicle sticks or skewers


Place the toffee sweets into a saucepot and heat up. Add a dash of water or cream so that it melts faster and prevents stickiness. Pour the toffee sauce over the apples and decorate some with sprinkles and some with salt flakes. Insert popsicle sticks or skewers as the toffee hardens.

Chefs Tip:You could also make a syrup from scratch and use red or green food colouring.
