Upside Down Fruity Breakfast Crumble

Ingredients:

  • 100g plain flour
  • 100g granola with nuts
  • 60g brown sugar
  • 125g butter, diced
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 300g blackberries
  • Fruits of the Forest stewed fruit and custard for serving

How To Make Upside Down Fruity Breakfast Crumble

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Place the flour, ground almonds and the 60g of castor sugar in the bowl. Add the butter and rub into crumbs. Scatter this over the base of a springform tin.
  2. Toss the apple and blackberries with a tablespoon of the of sugar, and the blackberries. Mix in a tablespoon of Fruits of the Forest. Scoop the blackberries and apple mixture on top of the crumble . Bake for 30- 45 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool and serve with Fruits of the Forest
