Cheese and Chicken Fatayer
A delicious and comforting snack, made the easy way with Clover cheese slices!

Cooking time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1kg ready-made bread dough
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup BBQ sauce
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- ½ cup chopped parsley
- 1 red chili, chopped
- 12 slices Clover Processed Cheddar Cheese
- To serve:
- Fresh parsley, chopped
How To Make Cheese and Chicken Fatayer
- Preheat oven to 180°C, line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Meanwhile prepare the filling in a large mixing bowl combine mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, chicken, parsley and chili, then season to taste with salt & pepper.
- Dust a clean work surface with flour, then divide the dough into 4 equal balls, roll the dough into a rectangular shape.
- Place the dough onto the prepared baking tray. Place two slices of cheese onto each piece of dough, then fold the dough over to cover the cheese pinching the ends.
- Top with the chicken mixture, then shape the dough into a oval shape and bake in the oven for 12 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped parsley.
