
Cheese Loaded Steak Fries
The messier the better! Oozing with Clover Cheese, it’s comfort food at its best!

Cooking time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- For the steak:
- 500g beef stroganoff
- 1 Tbsp masala
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt & pepper
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- ½ red pepper sliced
- ½ yellow pepper, sliced
- ½ cup chutney
- ½ cup water
- 1kg frozen chips, cooked
- 8 slices Clover Processed Cheddar Cheese
- For the Chimichurri:
- ¼ cup coriander, chopped
- ¼ cup mint, chopped
- 1 chili, deseeded & chopped
- ½ cup olive oil
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice & zest
- 1 tsp salt
How To Make Cheese Steak Loaded Fries
- In a large bowl add steak, spices and seasonings then mix until well combined.
- In a pan heat olive oil over medium heat add in steak and allow it to brown for about 2 minutes, then remove steak from the pan and set aside, to the same pan add in onions and peppers, cook until tender.
- Add in chutney and water, then return the steak to the pan and cook for a few minutes.
- Turn off the heat and top with cheese, cover with a lid and allow the cheese to melt.
- Meanwhile prepare the chimichurri by adding all ingredients into a bowl and mix until well combined, season to taste with salt & pepper.
- Place cooked fries onto a serving platter top with steak and cheese mixture, spoon over a generous amount of chimichurri and enjoy!
