Chicken Livers with Rice & Veg

A meal that can feed many!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1kg chicken livers, cleaned
  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tin chopped & peeled tomatoes
  • salt & pepper
  • rice
  • steamed vegetables

How To Make Chicken Livers

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan, add in onions and garlic, allow the onions to brown then add in chicken livers.
  2. Allow the chicken livers to brown, then add in tomato paste and tinned tomato.
  3. Allow this to cook for 5 – 10 minutes, until the chicken livers are cooked through, then season to taste with salt & pepper.
  4. Serve with rice and veg
