Chicken & Mushroom Pizza

Amber & Nick Wright makes a chicken & mushroom pizza

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 pre-made pizza base or dough
  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded 
  • 1 cup mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

To serve:
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

How To Make Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Place the pizza base or rolled-out dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper. 
  2. Spoon the pizza sauce evenly over the base, leaving a slight edge for the crust.In a bowl, toss the chicken with a drizzle of olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. 
  3. Distribute the seasoned chicken and sliced mushrooms evenly over the sauce.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the pizza.Add a sprinkle of dried oregano over the top. 
  5. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown. 
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. 
  7. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley Slice and serve!
