How To Make Chili Cheese Steak Loaded Fries

  1. In a large bowl add steak, spices and seasonings then mix until well combined.
In a pan heat olive oil over medium heat add in steak and allow it to brown for about 2 – 3 minutes, then remove steak from the pan and set aside, to the same pan add in onions and peppers, cook until tender. Add in BBQ sauce and water, then return the steak to the pan and cook until the steak is tender. Turn off the heat and top with cheese slices, cover with a lid and allow the cheese to melt.
  2. For the sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute, stirring continuously until smooth and bubbly. Gradually pour in the milk, whisking continuously to prevent lumps, continue to whisk until the sauce starts to thicken, about 2-3 minutes. Reduce heat to low, add the cheese slices. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Stir in the chili flakes, onion powder, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste
  3. Place cooked fries onto a serving platter, then pour over the chili cheese sauce, lastly top with cheesy steak. Garnish with jalapeños, red chili and spring onion. Enjoy!
