1 roll short crust pastry 3 large green apples chopped 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 castor sugar 2 tbsp butter 1 cup almond flakes 2 cups Clover classic custard 1 packet vanilla flavoured pudding 1/2 cup milk
Method:
Blind bake your short crust pastry in a tart tin for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle half of the almonds on the base of the tart shell. In a bowl combine the sugar, apple and cinnamon. Melt the butter in a large frying pan and sauté the apple until golden in colour. Spoon the mixture over the flaked almonds. Mix the custard, milk and vanilla pudding until smooth spread over the apple mixture top with the rest of the flaked almonds. Set in the fridge until set, slice and serve.
