Clover Elite Cheese Baguettes

Bring the gees to the game this weekend with these baguettes!

Serves: 6-8

Ingredients:

X2 Baguettes, sliced in half lengthways
Toppings:
2 cups grated Clover Elite Tussers cheese
2 cups grated Clover Elite Gouda cheese
2 cups grated Clover Elite Cheddar cheese
2 discs Clover Elite feta cheese, crumbled
1 cup caramelized onions
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
3 spring onions, chopped
1 cup mayo
½ cup hot sauce
1 cup biltong slices
½ cup chorizo slices
½ cup sweet piquant peppers
½ cup fig preserve
½ cup toasted walnuts, roughly chopped
¼ cup honey
Fresh herbs chopped for garnish

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180C.

Assemble the baguettes by placing them onto a baking sheet and add the toppings:
For the chicken baguette, add the mayo, chicken, spring onions, hot sauce and Clover Elite Tussers cheese to a baguette half.
For the biltong baguette, add biltong slices, caramelized onion, chorizo slices and Clover Elite gouda to another baguette half
For the non-meaty baguette, add Clover Elite Cheddar, piquant peppers, fig preserve and toasted walnuts.

Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and top the non-meaty baguette with feta and drizzle with honey.

Use half the ingredients for small baguettes.

Chefs Tip: Depending on the size of the baguettes, you can use half of the stipulated ingredients to create smaller versions of these cheese baguettes.
