Clover Fruits of the Forest Strawberry Cereal Tart

You can have this for breakfast – we won’t judge!

For the crust
¼ cup each almonds, pecan and walnuts, chopped
1 cup toasted oats
1 tbsp sunflower seeds
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 large egg yolk
½ cup butter, diced

For the filling
1 cup sour cream fresh cream
1 cup Fruits of the Forest, Strawberry Cranberry with cereal
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
½ cup fresh strawberries, chopped

For Garnishing
Fresh strawberries, sliced in half
Maple syrup for drizzling


Preheat the oven to 180C.
Pulse the nits, sunflower and pumpkin seeds in a food processor until fine. Add to a bowl with the oats and butter and rub together. Add the egg yolk and maple syrup, press into a greased oven or serving dish and bake for 12-14 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.

To make the filling, whisk together the sour cream, Fruits of the Forest, brown sugar and vanilla essence. Fold in the strawberries.
Once the crust is baked, spoon the Fruits of the Forest on top of the crust. Allow to set in fridge until set and garnish with fresh strawberries and maple syrup when ready to serve.

Chefs Tip: You can also use a different flavour Fruits of the Forest with seasonal fresh fruit for the toppings.
