Ingredients:
For the hummus 1 tin chickpeas, drained 1 tbsp tahini 2 cloves garlic, chopped salt and pepper to taste 1/3 cup olive oil ¼ cup water juice of 1 lemon 2 disc Clover Elite Feta cheese, any flavor
For the buffalo sauce 1/2 cup hot sauce 4 tbsp butter 1 tbsp white vinegar
Mixed Herbs for garnish Nacho chips for serving Crispy chickpeas for serving
Method:
In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the buffalo sauce. To make the whipped feta hummus, add all the ingredients and blend until smooth, add 1/4 cup of the buffalo sauce and blend.
Pour the hummus into a shallow bowl and stir through the rest of the buffalo sauce for serving.
Chefs Tip: You can use any of your favourite Clover Elite Feta cheese flavours in this recipe – and you could also use butterbeans, or cannelini beans as a substitute for chickpeas
