Coconut and Almond Chicken Waffles

Ingredients:

4 Farmer Brown Lightly Dusted Crumbed Chicken Strips

For the waffles:

  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • ½ cup Coconut Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Eggs, separated
  • 100 ml cream or double yogurt

To serve:

  • Whipped cream
  • Berries, Banana
  • Honey
  • Cream cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Avocado
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Mayo

How To Make Coconut and Almond Chicken Waffles

  1. Cook the chicken strips as directed on the packet.
  2. Pre heat waffle maker
  3. Combine all dry ingredients
  4. Mix melted butter, cream or yogurt and egg yolks. Add the dry ingredients. Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form and fold into batter. Add a little water if too thick.
    Pour onto a greased waffle iron and cook to desired colour
  5. Top with waffles and desired toppings.
