Cookies & Cream Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

  • 262g white sugar
  • 180g flour
  • 90g oil
  • 187g hot water
  • 9 eggs, separated
  • 36g cocoa powder
  • 15g baking powder
  • 10ml vanilla essence
  • Ready-made buttercream
  • Oreo Cookies

How To Make Cookies & Cream Chocolate Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 180.
  2. Mix hot water, cocoa powder, sugar, oil, vanilla essence and lastly your egg yolks.
  3. Sieve flour & baking powder together.
  4. Beat your egg whites to stiff peaks.
  5. Sieve your flour mixture into your cocoa mixture.
  6. Fold in your egg whites to the rest of the mixture.
  7. Bake at moderate temperature for 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 90g cream

How To Make Chocolate Ganache

  1. Place the chocolate in a stainless-steel bowl.
  2. Bring the cream to a simmer.
  3. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate.
  4. Allow to stand for 1 minute, then gently stir to blend.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  6. Whip the ganache to desired peaks for use.
