Fruity Sorbet
Whether you’re in the mood for something quick or have time to prepare ahead, these easy hacks will turn your favourite juice into delicious, homemade sorbets—perfect for cooling down as the days warm up!
Notes:
- For a fast and easy sorbet, this hack involves using frozen juice cubes or a mixture of juice and other ingredients blended together. It’s perfect when you want a refreshing treat in a matter of minutes.
How To Make Quick Blended Sorbet
- Prep and Freeze: Start by pouring Krush 100% Juice into ice cube trays and freeze until solid (usually takes 3-4 hours).
- Blend: Once the juice cubes are frozen, place them in a high-speed blender. Add a splash of Krush to help with blending.
- Blend Until Smooth: Blend until the mixture is smooth and has the consistency of sorbet. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides a few times.
- Serve Immediately: Scoop the sorbet into bowls and enjoy right away for a quick, refreshing treat!
Notes:
- This method is perfect if you have a bit more time and want a smoother, more traditional sorbet texture. By freezing the mixture overnight, you allow the sorbet to firm up fully, giving it a more authentic texture
How To Make Overnight Freezer Sorbet
- Mix Ingredients: Pour Krush 100% Juice into a mixing bowl. You can also add a squeeze of lemon juice or a bit of honey if you like, to enhance the flavour.
- Freeze in Shallow Pan: Pour the juice mixture into a shallow baking dish or a loaf pan. Place it in the freezer.
- Stir Occasionally: Every 30 minutes to an hour, take the dish out and stir the mixture with a fork to break up the ice crystals. This will help achieve a smoother texture. Repeat this process for about 3-4 hours.
- Freeze Overnight: After stirring several times, let the sorbet freeze overnight until it’s fully set.
- Scoop and Serve: The next day, scoop out the sorbet and serve in bowls. You can let it sit for a few minutes to soften slightly before serving.
