Mini Caramel Doughnuts

Say hello to crispy golden pillows of caramel nutty goodness!

  • 2 ½ Cups Cake flour
  • 3/4 Cup fresh milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Oil for frying
  • ½ Cup Caramel crunch sauce, melted
  • 3-4 Tbsp finely chopped peanuts

How To Make:

  1. Bring the oil to a medium-high heat.
  2. To prepare the doughnut batter add all in ingredients into a mixing bowl and using a whisk, whisk the ingredients until well combined.
  3. Allow the batter to rest and place a tablespoon into the oil and allow to cook till golden brown and crispy.
  4. Drain the cooked doughnuts on some paper towel.
  5. Then place them into a bowl. Drizzle the caramel over the doughnuts and toss them until they are evenly coated and top with chopped nuts.

Chefs Tip: To make it easier to pour the batter into the oil, place the batter into a piping bag. You can use melted chocolate or even peanut butter as a substitute for the caramel sauce
