Ostrich Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 2 WW Ostrich Burger Patties
  • 2 WW Brioche Burger Buns
  • 1 cup WW Rainbow Slaw
  • 2 Tbsp WW Reduced Oil Burger Mayo
  • 4 slices Cucumber
  • 4 slices Gherkins
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Olive oil (for cooking)

How To Make Ostrich Burgers

  1. Heat a grill pan or frying pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil.
  2. Season the WW Ostrich Burger Patties with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through.
  4. Remove from heat and let them rest for a minute.
  5. Finely chop 2 slices of gherkins and mix them into the WW Reduced Oil Burger Mayo for extra tangy flavour.
  6. Slice and lightly toast the WW Brioche Burger Buns in the same pan for added texture.
  7. Spread the gherkin mayo on both halves of each bun.
  8. Place the cooked ostrich patty on the bottom bun.
  9. Top with WW Rainbow Slaw, cucumber slices, and remaining gherkin slices.
  10. Finish with the top bun and serve immediately.
