Purity Prune & Chia Cookies

Babies have thousands of growing tastebuds in their mouths and introducing a variety of flavours and textures into your babies diet will make for more exciting tastes.

Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

125ml Purity Prunes Jar
1 Cup flour
½ Cup oat flour
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt, to taste

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Add all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix until combined. Using a tablespoon, spoon dollops of cookie batter onto the baking sheet. Press the cookies slightly and then place into the oven to bake for 10-15 minutes until golden in colour.
Allow the cookies to cool completely before serving

Chefs Tip:If you cannot find oat flour, just pulse some oats in a food processor until fine.

Place the cookies onto a cooling rack to cool, this will avoid the bottoms from becoming moist and soggy.
