Simply Chicken Mac & Peas
Simplify dinner with this easy and delicious recipe – and sneak in some veggies too!

Ingredients:
400g Macaroni Pasta, cooked
6 Simply Chicken Cheese Grillers
2 Cups Milk
200g Cheddar Cheese, grated
1 Cup Peas
50g Butter
50g Cake Flour
Salt and Pepper, to taste
Method:
Prepare the Simply Chicken Cheese Grillers according to package instructions and then cut them up into bite sized pieces.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In a sauce pot add the butter and flour, cook for 1-2 minutes before slowing adding the milk. Make sure to whisk continuously while pouring the milk. Cook the sauce for 6-8 minutes until thickened and then remove from the heat and stir in half the cheese until incorporated. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
Add the pasta to a baking dish, add the sauce, peas and chopped cheese griller and mix until combined. Add the remaining cheese on the top and place into the oven to cook for 25-30 minutes until the cheese has turned golden brown in colour.
Chefs Tip: If peas aren’t preferred, use carrots, corn, mushrooms or any other veggies!
